Shows cost lots of dough! Theaters need to make money and ticket sales don’t always cover the bills. So we sell Ads in the Program, assess Costume and Production Fees, etc. to help cover some of the costs. However, Curtain Call Cafe is aware that many are facing financial challenges like never before. The SSS Funds are available to anyone in need of them as they are available.
If you’d like to contribute to the SSS fund, you may use PayPal’s Send Money option. Send to info@curtaincallcafe.com. Be sure to include your contact information. Your will receive a Donation Receipt Letter as Curtain Call Cafe, Inc. is a 501C3 entity.
Shelby Spoonmore Scholarship Fund
The SSS fund has been set up to help offset the costs of performing in a community theatre production. It is funded by the Spoonemore family and other generous sponsors. All donations go towards the costs of production and costumes for lots of folks.
THE APPLICATION
The Shelby Spoonemore scholarship is financial-based and available on a first come, first served basis, as funds are available. To be considered for the SSS Fund, a single or a family application must be received by Curtain Call Café on or prior to audition date.
The first or single member of the family may request up to a 50% discount. Other family members may request up to a 25% discount. Remaining Fees may be paid in 2 installments if needed. After you pay the first installment (check, cash or PayPal) you get the script and the adventure begins.
